Wisconsin and 11 Mile Trips
Went to Wisconsin to hang out with Christa and Burt. Did a lot of red neck stuff and had a great time. The weekend after we got back Diane and I took her son and Paul's grandson to 11 Mile to camp and fish. Both the boys caught rainbows and pike.

Granby w/ Wade July 7
Went up to Granby Friday after work with my friend Wade. Saturday we fished Granby in the morning, then went to Williams Fork in the afternoon. We did pretty good at Granby. We saw a bunch of pike at Williams Fork but could not get any to bite. We did catch one small laker there though. Sunday morning we fished Granby again. The first hour we did not get a bite. Moved back into A-Bay and the fishing was great till we had to leave around 10am.

Boat Camping At Granby 7-1
Drove up to Granby at 4am Saturday morning. We fished all day. Diane did really well, almost caught twice as many fish as I did! At the end of the day we tied the boat to a bush in Grand Bay and setup a make shift bimini/tent with a tarp. I can't get my full bimini for this boat for two more weeks. Using the tarp was ok... but wow it got cold that night. Neither one of us slept well due to being cold AF.
We got up about 6:30 am, made coffee on the bank and went fishing. Today I did really well lol. Caught a bunch, one pretty nice 22"er.
I'm really looking forward to having the new bimini. Being on a boat high in elevation on a sunny day is pretty rough.

Lost an Old Friend Last Night :(
Now that I have a new boat it was time to get rid of the old one. What a great boat. I hope my new boat treats me half as well. I sold her to a nice retired gentleman who says she will spend most of her time relaxing in Nebraska next to Lake McConaughy. Not a bad way to pasture. Diane and I and a friend of mine all caught Colorado master angler Lake Trout from my old boat. Really feel I became a seasoned fisherman with that boat. Bitter sweet day. The saying goes the best days of owning a boat are the day you buy it and the day you sell it. Well those people didn't have this boat, or they would know that saying is only half right.
